"Nudes In The Garden"

The Road Apples have just released their 2nd album "Nudes In The Garden". Once again, it was recorded over time spent in Portland, Or, Los Angeles, CA, and Minneapolis, MN. This one is dedicated to our parents, without which we would not be here. Otherwise, it involves, quite accidentally, the various characters that we all come across: the ones we embrace and lose too soon, the ones we avoid, and the ones who end up in jail because they are criminals and con artists. They all make us who we are. In other words, like life itself, it's an accidental study of the human condition.

"What's Your Name Honey?"

Nasty Nadine - The blues as it comes out of a dirty film noir flick. A true story about an unusual phone call.

Holiday - The ocean as recorded by the Santa Monica pier.

Up To The Stars - The moral question of keeping up with the superficial morons you don't give a crap about... you wouldn't trade places with them for the world.

Mother In law - "Be My baby" meets Dylan on the way to see the Rolling Stones. We don't need to dress up like a meat sandwich to prove that we have good taste.

Waiting For Godot - Another film noir cowboy movie...Dylan showed up again and sat in the back of the theater.

Local Loser - Welfare mothers and junkies are always waiting in line to take advantage of you. Get a job.

Walking By The Misty Sea - Ex wives...everyone should have a couple...

The World As We Know It - No comment.

The Best Things Are Free - Trying to keep lawyers and negativity at arm's length...who did that great guitar at the end? Close your eyes...

He's Got A Problem - Marianne Faithfull. This is the acoustic version. The electric version will come out in time.

On The Porch - We all have that moment when we realize that we’re not going to live forever: "You hate to live, the way you live, but you know you're much too scared to die". A hypnotic dreamscape.

Sheep In The Desert - The truth is this: the real heroes are the ones who have given their lives so you can have the freedom to complain about the lack of valet parking. Get a fucking life.
